From the earliest times beads have traveled.  Archeologists often use beads to track the
migration patterns of people.  Both men and women have used beads though the ages
as adornment.  Beads have been valued for their healing powers and have been used as
currency.  Beads from one area of the world are often valued by people in other areas of
the world for their uniqueness and beauty.

My Perles du Monde necklaces are one-of-a-kind creations.  The materials used in the
necklaces are collected from Africa, Asia, South America, South Western United States,
and Europe.  Some of the beads I have collected while traveling, others have been
purchased by traveling friends, and still others I have bought from merchants traveling or
located here.  Since the history of beads is one of traveling, I have not hesitated to mix
beads from vastly varied locations. 

These are One-of-a-kind handmade ethnic beaded necklaces.
